Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Children diagnosed as the case of underweight according to IAP classification 61-80% (nutritional grade 1 & 2) 2) Underweight children without oedema.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: age below 1 year and above 10 years

To evaluate the role of ashwagandha ghrita in childhood karshya subjectlively all signs and symptoms are given grading depending upon their severityTimepoint: 1st 15th 30th 45th day of treatment and after 30 days of cessation of treatment
