Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients undergoing general anaesthesia and requiring arterial cannulation 2 ASA status I, II or III 3 Age 65 years or older

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patientâ??s refusal to participate 2 Hemodynamically unstable 3 Allenâ??s test positive 4 Hematoma or local site infection 5 Known peripheral vascular disease or Raynaudâ??s phenomenon
