Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients of ASA 1/2/3 , Undergoing major abdominal surgeries requiring lower thoracic epidural catheterisaion having CT scan done as a part of surgical workup

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: use of Anticoagulants/antiplatelet medications/nfecions at insertion site/ allergy to local anesthetics/prior spine insrumenation surgeries/ spinal deformities like kyphosis/scoliosis
