Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 yrs or more 2. Patients undergoing elective HPB (involving Pancreatic, Gall bladder, Stomach Liver and CRS +/-HIPEC) gastrointestinal surgery in Tata Memorial Hospital 3. ASA Class 1-3

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Elective postoperative ventilation 2. Patients found to be inoperable after laparotomy 3. Patients with psychiatric illnesses/ patients on psychoactive drugs 4. Patient receiving or scheduled to receive emetogenic anticancer drug from 6 days before study entry to 48 hours after anesthesia 5. Pregnant and lactating women
