Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with age >=18 years 2. Patients with ARDS with PO2:FiO2 of 150-300
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnancy 2.Patients with hemodynamic instability defined as requiring vasopressor support (i.e., a systolic blood pressure 3.Patients with altered sensorium or Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) of less than 12 4.Patients with need of emergency intubation 5.Patients with Tracheostomy 6.Patients with upper airway obstruction 7.Patients with pH 50 mm of Hg in initial arterial blood gas analysis 8.Patients with pneumothorax on chest Xray. 9.Inability to reposition self for comfort without assistance 10.Spinal instability 11.Glaucoma or other condition with acutely elevated intraocular pressure
