Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with a minimum of 20 teeth. 2. Subjects with Stage III Grade A periodontitis as per 2017 World Workshop on classification of periodontal and peri-implant diseases and conditions. 3. Subjects who have not undergone periodontal therapy in the last 3 months preceding the start of the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with blood dyscrasias. 2. Use of antibiotics in the preceding 6 months. 3. Subjects with any other systemic disease (diabetes mellitus, hypertension, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, tumours). 4. Smokers and/or alcoholics.
