Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 40 years or over with symptomatic age-related cataract in both eyes 2. Patient or his or her legal representative must be able to provide informed consent 3. Patients must live within 30 miles / 50 kilometers of study site, or be within an area Investigator agrees will be possible for follow-up 4. Patients must be willing and able to comply with the follow-up schedule.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated cataracts like secondary to trauma, subluxated cataracts etc 2. Cataract with co-existing other ocular co-morbidities like pseudo exfoliation, coexisting glaucoma, corneal pathology, uveitis etc 3. Chronically ill patients with serious medical conditions that limits their lifespan or productivity, e.g., cancer, stroke, head or spinal cord injuries, diabetes with chronic renal failure 4. Patient unable to give consent or unable to comply with follow-up requirements 5. Patient unable to be positioned for surgery 6. Previously identified poor pupil dilation ( <5.0 mm)
