Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: INCLUSION CRITERIA 1. Age more than or equal to 18. 2. Admitted in ICUs 3. SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR positive.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: EXCLUSION CRITERIA Following patients will be excluded: 1. Patients with difficult airway 2. Patient requiring immediate intubation or already being intubated 3.Thoracic surgery during previous 15 days or presence of tracheostomy tube 4.Facial trauma or facial surgery during the previous 15 days 5.Cardiac pacemaker inserted in the last 2 days 6.Unstable spine, femur, pelvic fractures, or unstable chest wall 7.Major abdominal surgery in previous 3 month 8.Mean arterial pressure lower than 65 mm Hg despite circulatory support 9.Unstable arrhythmia or H/O CAD with risk factors for arrhythmias 10.Pregnant women 11.Anterior chest tube 12.Suspected or documented intra-abdominal hypertension 13.Use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) 14.Burns on more than 20 % of the body surface including chest or abdominal surface 15.Any seizure episode 16.Patient with Chronic Kidney disease

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To estimate a correlation of arterial PaCO2 and PaO2 with the duration of proning in Covid patients.Timepoint: PaO2 and PaCO2 which will be recorded on the day of admission and subsequently every day after PP.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To estimate the subset of patients benefiting from proning in terms of number of patients getting intubated.Timepoint: Number of patients getting intubated and duration of proning.
