Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA GRADE I OR II pregnant patients undergoing elective lower segment caesarian section under spinal anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA III and above,patients with heart disease, respiratory disease, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, morbid obesity, uncontrolled hypertension, contraindication to neuraxial blockade, history of allergy to study drug or unwilling to get enrolled in the study

To observe the haemodynamic stability intraoperatively using parameters like heart rate, blood pressure ,mean arterial pressure and saturation in a standard monitorTimepoint: Every 2 min for first 10 minutes and then every 5 minutes thereafter
