Intervention1: Platelet Rich Fibrin: Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a second-generation platelet concentrate. PRF results in the release of growth factors. such as platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: I. Participants above 18 years of age. II. Participants with full complement dentition till second molars in both upper and lower arches III. Participants indicated for bilateral maxillary 1st Premolar extraction, well aligned arches. IV. Participants in which, 0.022 MBT brackets will be used and molar will be anchored to mini-screw using 0.019 x 0.025-inch stainless steel wire.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: I. Participants not willing to be a part of the study. II. Participants with a previous history of bleeding disorders - anaemia, haemophilia, thrombocytopaenia, and other blood dyscrasias. III. Participants having systemic conditions and are on medications, congenital syndromes, developmental anomalies and craniofacial abnormalities and obvious facial asymmetry. IV. Participants who have undergone prior orthodontic treatment. V. Participants who have habits such as smoking.
