Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly subjects with T2DM (greater than or equal to 60yrs). Willingness to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any food allergy or medical condition that prevents them from eating such products. Persons with any disability to swallow. Unwillingness to participate in the study

MeasureTime frame
We would assess the acceptability of health food kit (containing scientific evidence based foods)in elderly with diabetes, based on their Sensory acceptability for the food products provided in health food kit, their ease of preparation, intention to buy if available in the market and overall acceptability of the foods in the kit. Timepoint: Each participant will be provided with health food kit once and will instructed to use them at their convenience within 2 weeks. Necessary instructions will be provided to the participant for using the health food kit. The participants will be contacted by end of two weeks to evaluate their acceptability of health food kit using an interviewer administered questionnaire. Sensory attributes will assessed at the end of 2 Weeks.
