Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients of age group between 16-70 years. 2 Patients who are suffering from second degree of haemorrhoids will be considered for this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 I, III and IV degrees of piles. 2 Arsha associated with Carcinoma rectum, Thrombosed & strangulated piles, Rectal prolapse and Fistula in ano, Anal fissure. 3 Hepatitis-B, HIV and HCV positive cases will be excluded. 4 Patients having uncontrolled systemic disease such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus etc., malignancy of any organ and pregnant women will also be excluded.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Outcome will be measured by parameters: 1. Bleeding per anus 2. Pain or discomfort in anal region 3. Itching in anal region 4. Number of pile mass 5. Size of pile massTimepoint: Outcome will be evaluated every 7th day for 3 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Constipation 2. Mucus dischargeTimepoint: Outcome will be evaluated every 7th day for 3 weeks
