Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of age group above 16 years and below 65 years will be included. 1. Patients with classical signs and symptoms of Rujakarmarmakshata (sprain) like Ruja (Pain), Shotha (Swelling), Snayustabdhta (Stiffness), Alpakaryakshamtva (Difficulty in movement), Tenderness or among of them minimum two of these sign and symptoms if present will be included. 2.Patients of acute stage of ankle sprain will be included. 3. Patients of first and up to second grade of sprain will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of age below 16 years and above 65 years will be excluded. 1. Patients with ankle ligament rupture will be excluded. 2. Patients of third grade of sprain will be excluded. 3. Patients with multiple injuries will be excluded. 4. Patients under the influence of drugs/ alcohol will be excluded. 5. Patients with localized defects like Pathological Fracture, open wound will be excluded. 6.Patients with acquired anomalies like Osteomyelitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and coagulopathy like Hemophilia will be excluded. 7. Fractures with complications like injury to the blood vessels or nerves will be excluded.

Result will Be assessed on the basis of relief sign and symptoms Of Rujakar marmakshata Of Gulpha Sandhi. Assesment criteria: 1.Swelling 2 Range of Movement 3.Tenderness Timepoint: 7 days
