Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: After obtaining informed consent, 100 ASA physical status I or II patients having mild or moderate contracture of the neck Onahs classification Type 1 and Type 2 with Mallampatti grade I or II and a mouth opening of at least 3 cm, planned for elective surgery under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients with any neck pathology other than the scar, • Body mass index (BMI) >30 kg/m2, • Reactive airway, • Gastroesophageal reflux disease, • Neck circumference >40 cm, and • Pregnant patients will be excluded.
