Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnostic criteria-According to ICMR GUIDELINES FOR MANAGEMENT OF TYPE 2 DIABETES. 3.Presence of Urine Sugar 4.Frequency of Urination 7-10 times / 24 hours & quantity >= 2500 ml. 5.Willing to participate in the study. 6.Pre-diabetic on no medication is to be preferred.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Serious illness like cardiovascular, CNS and hepatic diseases. 2. Pregnant woman 3. Lactating mother 4. Patients undergoing regular treatment for any severe illness. 5. Subjects already suffering from the complications of Diabetes (Diabetic Nephropathy, Diabetic Neuropathy, Diabetic Retinopathy etc) 6. Subjects on Steroids, Oral Contraceptive Pills or Oestrogen Replacement therapy. 7. Not willing to participate in the study.
