Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CONFIRMED COVID-19 PATIENTS 0F AGE MORE THAN OR EQUAL TO 18 YEARS ADMITTED IN MEDICAL WARDS AND ICU

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: PATIENTS WITH END STAGE RENAL DISEASE AND PREGNANT PATIENTS

Development of acute kidney injury in patients of COVID-19 in terms of rise in serum creatinine by 0.3mg/dL within 48 hours or more than 1.5 times baseline in past 7 days or reduced urine output of 0.5 ml per kg per hour for 6 hours.Timepoint: at the end of study—

MeasureTime frame
Increased serum levels of inflammatory markers: IL-6, PROCALCITONIN, FERRITIN in patients developing acute kidney injury. Detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA particles in urine samples of patients developing acute kidney injury. Need for ICU care, prolongation of hospital stay and hospital disposition (i.e. discharge or death) in patients developing acute kidney injury. Timepoint: 28 days—
