Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Men or Women between 18 and 60 years of age. Cairo et al RT1 gingival recession defects measuring = 2mm anterior teeth or premolars, on contralateral sides of same arch or one in each quadrant, with complaint of sensitive teeth or esthetic concerns. Vital teeth, free of faulty restorations. Patients who gave informed consent for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of smoking or tabacco consumption. Pregnant or lactating women. Patient with active periodontal disease. History of surgical treatment in the delineated area for atleast 2 years prior to the study. Patients with systemic condition that contraindicate surgery.

Significant improvement in clinical parameters:pocket probing depth,clinical attachment level,thickness of attached gingiva,width of keratinized tissue,gingival recession width, vertical depth of recession and percentage root coverage.Timepoint: Baseline, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month and 3 months.
