Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. cases giving voluntary informed consent to participate in study 2. cases of sciatica diagnosed with positive SLRT and/ or Slump test 3. sciatica (ICD- 10 Criteria M54.3) 4. cases of sciatica with following symptoms: - constant or intermittent pain anywhere in the course of sciatic nerve - sharp, shooting pain anywhere in the course of sciatic nerve - burning or tingling sensation anywhere in the course of sciatic nerve

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Advanced cases- with bladder involvement, degeneration of spine; spinal/ intraspinal tumors; lumbar canal stenosis; deformity in vertebral column- scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis. 2. Any lesion of sciatic nerve (ICD-10 criteria G57.0) 3. Any lesion due to inter- vertebral disc disorder (ICD- 10 criteria M51.1)

MeasureTime frame
1. According to the scores obtained (pre and post treatment) from the NPRS (Numeric Pain Rating Scale). 2. According to the scores obtained (pre and post treatment) from the QBPDS (Quebec Back Pain Disability Score). Timepoint: Scores will be obtained (pre and post treatment) from the NPRS and QBPDS scale at 3 months.
