Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Young adults aged 20- 40 years 2. Residing in Mumbai 3. Both hypertensive and normotensives 4. Voluntarily agrees to participate 5. Patients with essential hypertension
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children or adults 2. Adults >40 years of age 3. Refusal to participate in the study 4. Patients with secondary hypertension

| â?¢Dietary habits and personality traits of hypertensives would be compared with normotensives â?¢Frequency consumption of sodium rich and dietary habits will be assessed â?¢Interrelationship between blood pressure, personality traits and dietary habits will be determined. â?¢E-booklet development: A comprehensive e-book will be developed containing comprehensive information on sodium, sodium content of various foods, functions of sodium and various other aspects in relation to salt and sodium consumption.
