Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients diagnosed as having nidranasha (insomnia). 2) Patients who finds it pleasant to listen to Raga Bageshri. 3)Insomnia severity index scoring greater than 7.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with systemic diseases like diabetes, hypertension etc. 2) Patients with narcolepsy, breathing related sleep disorder, circadian rhythm sleep disorder or parasomnia. 3) Patients with another mental disorders (e.g major depressive disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, a delirium). 4) The disturbance is not due to the direct physiological effect of a substance or a general medical condition.
