Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Classical signs and symptoms of Madhumeha- PrabhutaavilaMutrata, pipasadhikya, kshudhadhikya, swedadhikya, Nidradhikya, karapadataladaha, karapadatalasuptata, angagandha, daurbalya, shrama, galatalushosha, tandra 2)Fasting plasma glucose upto 200 mg/dl and post prandial glucose level upto 300mg/dl 3)Both insulin dependent and non insulin dependent type 2 diabetes mellitus patients will be included 4)Both newly diagnose and patients on allopathic treatment will be included in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with other metabolic and endocrinal disorders. 2)Patients having uncontrolled blood sugar. 3)Fasting plasma glucose level more than 200mg/dl & post prandial glucose level more than 300mg/dl will be excluded 4)Patients having any other malignancies, any other systemic / serious illness. 5)Patients with diabetic wound / ulcers. 6)Patients of Diabetes mellitus Type 1 (Juvenile Diabetes). 7)Patients having acute & serious complications of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. 8)Patients with Coronary artery disease, Peripheral vascular disease & cerebrovascular disease & 9)Other chronic debilitating disease like STD, Tuberculosis etc. 10)Pregnant women

Improvement in laboratory investigations like FBS,PPBS.Timepoint: 2 weeks after completion of treatment.
