Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To find predictive strength of weaning failure of DRSBI(failed SBT,NIV,re-intubation within 48 hrs of extubation) and to use the best cut-off value of DRSBI in predicting weaning failureTimepoint: Calculation of DRSBI at 1 min and 30 min of spontaneous breathing trial before extubation | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Comparison of predictive strength of DRSBI(diaphragmatic rapid shallow breathing index) and RSBI(rapid shallow breathing index) in predicting weaning failure, association between ventilation duration and weaning failure, association between duration of surgery and weaning failure, association of cardiopulmonary bypass duration and weaning failureTimepoint: Calculation of DRSBI and RSBI at 1 min and 30 min of spontaneous breathing trail before extubation | — |
