Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Individuals of acne vulgaris having pidika with clinical symptoms. 2.Uncomplicated cases with classical pictures of Yuvanpidika were selected irrespective of cast, religion and profession. 3.Patients who are fit for Vamana karma and Lepa.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients having pidika other than face and other kshudraroga and kustharoga. 2.Pidika produced due to side effect of any drug applied earlier. 3.Patients below 18 yrs and above 40 yrs of age. 4.Patients in whome vamana karma is contraindicated were not registered.
