Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Permanent resident children of age 9 months to 36 months residing in slum areas of Belagavi city. 2. Children whose parents give consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any significant chronic infectious (e.g., tuberculosis), liver and kidney disease 2. H/O participation in previous research trial 3. Any recurrent diarrhea or respiratory illness 4. Severe anemia (Hb 5. Any genetic disorder 6. Any congenital heart disease 7. Severe acute malnutrition 8. Children intolerant to bovine milk
