Intervention1: Vamana Dhauti ( Voluntarily induced vomiting / therapeutic emesis ): 4-5 glasses of warm saline water is taken by the individual followed by voluntary emesis
one of the six cleansing techniques in Yoga therapy It will be practised twice a week for four weeks. The kriya takes almost 5-10 min Control Intervention1: Non interventional control group: N/A

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Students of SDMCNYS recently introduced to Yoga, who never practised Vamana Dhauti before; scoring >17 in Self Rating of Anxiety Questionnaire

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Students not fulfilling the inclusion criteria or having severe acute gastritis, recent abdominal surgeries.
