Intervention1: General Anaesthesia using full inhalation anaesthesia with sevoflurane: Full inhalation anaesthesia will be given using Sevoflurane. Induction will be done using tidal volume inhalation

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American society of Anaesthesiologist physical status 1 & 2 planned for elective open pelvic surgeries like radical hysterectomy, cystectomy, prostatectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy, etc.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Psychiatric disorders, allergy to anaesthetics, alcohol abuse, nervous system diseases, long term use of hypnotics and sedatives, anaemia, uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension, severe cardiopulmonary dysfunction, deranged LFT, kidney dysfunction on dialysis, refusal to sign informed consent
