Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with benign Gall bladder diseases undergoing Laparoscopic cholecystectomy and being assessed for anaesthesia as low risk (ASA I and II) will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients with following history of opioid dependence, History of allergy to bupivacaine, Psychosomatic disorders are excluded to avoid bias in pain perception

To assess and compare the pain intensity with numerical rating scale (0-10) in the post-operative period after standard four port laparoscopic cholecystectomy using laparoscopic transversus abdominis block and port site local analgesic infiltrationTimepoint: the time points are 0,2,4,6,8,12,18,24hrs after receiving the patient in post-operative ward where the pain scores will be calculated.
