Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA class 1 & 2 Infraumblical surgeries >1 hr & <4 hrs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Surgeries 4 hrs. Patient on sedatives,opioids or antidepressants. Pregnant Women. Patient with baseline heart rate <50 beats /min &/SBP <90mmHg.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Two dermatomal regression time, from the maximum level of sensory blockadeTimepoint: Immediately after spinal blockade and every 30min thereafter.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Prolongation of Sedation and hemodynamic instability associated with the study drugs Timepoint: Immediately after spinal blockade and at 5 min throughout the procedure and thereafter half an hour till 2hrs post procedure.
