Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Young adults aged between 18-30 years. 2)Those who have BMI in the range of 23 to 39.9kg/m2. 3) Those who can read/understand Hindi/English. 4)Those who have an intent to participate in weight management treatment and follow up regularly. 5)Those who have the ownership or accessibility to mobile phones for technology-based intervention.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Those with secondary causes of obesity (like Uncontrolled Hypothyroidism, Cushingââ?¬•s diseases, PCOS). 2) Those with acute infections, advanced end-organ damage or chronic diseases: renal/hepatic failure, any malignancy. 3) Those having a current intake of medicine known to affect body weight such as drugs acting on the central nervous system, cathartics, thyroid supplements, diuretics and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. 4) Those with psychosocial contraindications such as bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, substance abuse, clinically significant depression or undercurrent psychiatric care. 5) Those planning to move out within the study period.
