Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have experienced acute UGI bleed- who have presented within 48h of onset of hematemesis and/ or melena. Patients with Age >12 years, irrespective of gender

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have experienced UGI bleed- who have presented beyond 48 h of onset of hematemesis and/ or melena.

Comparison of UGIB scoring systems in predicting the mortality in the patients diagnosed with acute upper GI bleed. To determine the outcome of acute upper GI bleed, re-bleed rate, in-hospital mortality, 30 day mortality, need for surgeryTimepoint: 30 days
