Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Women, aged 18 to 45 years, with a diagnosis of PCOS, according to the Rotterdam Consensus which includes two of the following criterias: a. Oligo- or anovulation b. Biochemical and/or clinical hyperandrogenism c. Polycystic ovaries on ultrasound Women without PCOS of the same age group who will report to have menstrual cycles regularly without any history of PCOS or clinical or biochemical hirsutism. Residing in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals with chronic medical conditions or any endocrine disorders, major depression, panic attack or anxiety disorders. Night shift workers, pregnant or lactating women or menopausal women. Medications usage for sleep related problems or those known to affect metabolic or hormonal function (such as anti-diabetic drugs or lipid lowering drugs) in the past 3 months.
