Intervention1: Animated Video for informing, involving, teaching by discussion, demonstrating supportive activities to prepare the mothers of preterm neonates before discharge Application of ear muffs

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mothers and preterm neonates Preterm neonates who are born between 32 weeks to 36 weeks of gestation and their Mothers Preterm neonates whose birth weight will be between 2000 grams to 2500 grams and their Mothers Preterm neonates who will be admitted in level I & II NICU at Nioufer Hospital and their Mothers Preterm neonates who will be available for one week before the discharge and their Mothers Preterm neonates who will be inborn and outborn Mothers who will have access to smart phone with internet facility Mothers of preterm neonates who will be able to read and/or write in telugu and or urdu

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mothers of preterm neonates with congenital anomalies Mothers of preterm neonates who will be admitted from the places other than Telangana

Improving the awareness among mothers on care of preterm neonate after discharge Growth and development of the preterm neonateTimepoint: Assessment of mothers knowledge and practices on 1&2 day after recruitment Presentation of video to mothers on 1&2nd day after recruitment Testing the mothers knowledge and practices after 48 hrs of video presentation Assess selected parameters of Growth and development of the preterm neonate on day 1-5 after recruitment during hospitalization,two weeks and four weeks after discharge
