Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study will include patients who meet the criteria for MTP activation and present within 8 hours of injury/trauma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients in cardiac arrest 2. Patients referred from other hospital and have received blood products.

Primary outcome- TEG-guided MTP to resuscitate trauma patients improves survival compared with an MTP guided by CCT and utilizes less plasma and platelet transfusions during the early phase of resuscitation. Timepoint: Preparatory phase-2 months This shall be used in the recuitemnet of staff, explaining the roles of each person employed in the study and its assessment thereof Data collection and analysis-20 months This shall be used for patient accrual, collection of samples, processing in the laboratory and analysing the results obtained. Report writing-2 months This time shall be utilized for the analysis of the accrual data and writing of the report.—
