Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients having classical signs and symptoms of Bronchial Asthma of mild to moderate nature as per GINA (Global Initiative for Asthma) criteria (Annexure 2) 2) Patients having minimum 2 of the following signs and symptoms a) Dyspnoea (Å?v�?sa ká¹?chá¹?ata) b) Wheezing (Ghuá¹?ghurat�?) c) Cough (K�?sa) 3) Age group between 18 to 65 years irrespective of sex. 4) Patients with FEV1 (Forced Expiratory Volume in one second) between 40% and 79%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Dyspnoea due to causes other than Bronchial asthma. 2) Status asthmaticus 3) Diagnosed cases of infectious lung disease 4) Pregnancy and lactation 5) Patients under medication for asthma including those using inhalers 6) Diagnosed cases of Lung malignancy 7) Diabetes mellitus 8) Participants not willing to give informed consent
