Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >18 Yrs. 2. Patient should be well oriented and coherent 3. All gender 4. All extremity amputees

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with known head injury or neurological disorders 2. Patients with known psychiatric illness before the traumatic amputation 3. Patients who donâ??t give consent 4. Patient without social support 5. Patient who shows signs of overt depression immediately post-operatively

MeasureTime frame
To compare the QOL of post traumatic amputees after psychosocial intervention in addition to conventional care versus conventional care only. To study the stress biomarkers metabolic, immune-biomarker and neuroendocrine biomarkers in traumatic amputees. Timepoint: 7 WEEKS—
