Interventions

Intervention1: ALOEVERA CAPSULE 500mg: Powder from the 500 mg capsule of aloe vera will be taken and it will be mixed with saline and whole mixture will be soaked in Gelfoam and then it will be placed

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 subjects with bilateral tooth extraction 2 Subjects with good physical health with no clinically significant and medical or relevant history. 3 Subjects with age group between 18-60 years 4 Subjects who understood and willing to follow the study procedure

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Subjects allergic to aloe vera 2 subjects with pericoronitis and other acute infections 3 Smokers and alcoholics 4 Uncontrolled diabetic subjects 5 subjects with any other metabolic disorders/immunocompromised Subjects undergoing chemotherapy,radiotherapy and on immunosuppressants 6 Pregnant and lactating subjects

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain reduction and Healing will be assessed .Pain will be assessed on 1st,3rd and on 7th day using Visual Analogue Scale and Healing of the post extraction socket will be assessed using Healing Index given by Landry et allTimepoint: after 7 days

Secondary

Pain reduction and Healing of socket.Pain will be assessed using Visual Analogue scale and Post extraction Socket Healing will be assessed using Healing Index given by Landry et all on 1st ,3rd day by telephonic conversation and on 7th day in Department of Oral and maxillofacial SurgeryTimepoint: on 1st day,3rd day and 7th day
