Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Body weight 50-80kg ASA Class 1 and 2 Elective upperlimb surgery of duration 1 to 5 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)patient not willing for surgery 2)uncooperative patients 3)patients with local pathology at the site of injection 4) history of drug allergy, history of convulsions, bleeding disorder and neurological deficit. 5) ASA CLASS 3 And above.

Based on duration of analgesia in two groups.Timepoint: Intraoperatively 1min, 5min ,10 min, 15 min, 30 min, 45 min , 1hr Postoperatively 0 min,15 min,30min,1hr,3hr,6hr,12hr,18hr,24hr

- To compare the incidence of sedation, hypotension, bradycardia and allergic reactions.Timepoint: 60 patients
