Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Asymptomatic mandibular molars with radiographic evidence of deep caries approximating the pulp chamber with no evidence of widening of periodontal ligament, absence of furcal radiolucency and periapical pathology, Positive response to cold test and electric pulp test, Absence of tenderness to percussion, Periodontally healthy individuals, Patients with no systemic disease, Patients with good oral hygiene, Patients who had signed the written informed consent and willing for voluntary participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Negative response to pulp vitality testing, History of previous restorations, Symptomatic teeth, Evidence of periapical pathology, Periodontally compromised teeth, Teeth not conducive for rubber dam isolation, Patients with bleeding disorder, Pregnant women, in anticipation of requirements for radiographs.
