Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged between 18-65 years of any gender. 2. Patients with Uric acid >7 mg/dl and 3. Patients having capacity and willingness to give consent and complete trial documentation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients below 18 years and above 65 years. 2. Patients who are known cases of Renal, Cardiac, Liver and Pulmonary diseases. 3. Pregnant and Lactating females 4. Patient with uncontrolled Hypertension (SBP >140 mmHg, DBP > 90 mmHg, in patients on anti-hypertensive medications). 5. Patients with uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus (RBS more than the normal range, in patients on hypoglycaemic medications). 6. Use of Uric acid lowering agents prior to 2 weeks of study. 7. Known allergies to test and control drugs.
