Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Singleton pregnencies Patients labouring for the first time Spontaneous onset of labour Low risk patients Vertex presentation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All medical disorders Any obstetic complications like PIH,Gestational diabetes,severe anaemia,placenta previa. Any life-theatening anomalkies Multiple pregnencies Any sings of fetal distress Advanvce stage of labour Non vertex presentation

MeasureTime frame
To study duration of labour in patients labouring for first time using partogram and to assess the changing trends in cervical dilatation and progression of labour Evaluating maternal and perinatal outcomesTimepoint: Total duration of labour including latent labour and active labour about twelve hours
