Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed cases of Hypothyroidism (TSH level > 4.6 mIU /mL 18 ) who has been suffering from Menorrhagia. 2. Menstrual loss > 80 ml, assessed by use of more than 16 soaked sanitary products per menstrual period 21 , and/or duration of flow longer than 5 days. 3. Reproductive age group (15 45 years). 4.Providing written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Organic causes of Menorrhagia. 2. Severe anaemia ( Hb value less than 8gm/dl). 3. History of Bleeding disorders. 4. Pelvic inflammatory disease. 5. Endometriosis. 6. Pregnancy related causes, like miscarriage. 7. Patients who are too sick for consultation, unwilling to take part or not giving consent to join the study. 8. Diagnosed cases of uncontrolled or life threatening illness affecting quality of life or any organ failure. 9. Substance abuse and/ or dependence.
