Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing minimal access surgery under general anesthesia in Trendelenburg Position.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients posted for surgery with Lung Pathologies- COPD, Asthma and Restrictive Lung Diseases, open surgeries, minimal access surgeries in positions other than supine Trendelenburg position.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To perform Lung Ultrasonography using Modified Lung Ultrasonography Score (LUS) and look for atelectasis.Timepoint: Using LUS at the following times: After induction, 2 hours after giving supine Trendelenburg position/ pneumoperitoneum, before reversal.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess diaphragm position and peak pressures.Timepoint: Using Lung Ultrasonography Score(LUS) at the following times: After induction, 2 hours after giving supine Trendelenburg position/ pneumoperitoneum, before reversal.
