Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Fracture proximal femur surgery under subarachnoid block and likely to have pain while positioning. 2. patient able to understand VAS(visual analogue scale) regarding assessment of pain. 3. patient conformed to American society of anaesthesiologist (ASA) physical status 1 to 3 in preoperative assessment 4. Patient able to give written and informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with contraindication to subarachnoid block. 2. Patients with significant history of drug or alcohol abuse. 3. Patients with multiple fractures. 4. patients refusal and unable to understand VAS score. 5. use of analgesics 8hr before performance of subarachnoid block 6. Morbid obesity 7. patients with other comorbid conditions like Diabetes Mellitus ,Hypertension ,IHD,bronchial asthama ,COPD,neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disease.
