Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Parturients belonging to ASA II 2.Height of the patient 150-160cms 3.Parturients who are willing to give consent. 4.Parturients of normal singleton pregnancy beyond 36 weeks gestation posted for elective caesarean section.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Parturients with hypersensitivity to study drug. 2.Parturients with significant coagulopathies and other contra-indications for spinal anaesthesia. 3.Parturients with pregnancy induced hypertension 4. Parturients with history of significant systemic disorders (cardiovascular, respiratory or central nervous system). 5.Parturients with fetal anomalies and twin gestation. 6.Parturients with oligohydramnios and polyhydramnois.
