Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from acne (ICD-10-CM code:L70), mild (GAGS 1-18) to moderate (GAGS 19-30) form from 3 months or more. 2. Patients of age between 18 and 50 years 3. Patients of either sex 4. Literate patients who can read and write in English and/or Bengali. 5. Patients giving written informed consent to participate.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having severe (GAGS 31-38) to very severe (GAGS 39 or higher) form of acne 2. Patients using oil-based cosmetics for long periods of time 3. Vulnerable population â?? unconscious, ambulatory, too sick for consultation, differently abled, terminally or critically ill patients, mentally incompetent people 4. Diagnosed cases of unstable mental or psychiatric illness or other uncontrolled or life-threatening illness affecting quality of life or any organ failure 5. Pregnant and puerperal women and lactating mothers 6. Patient under tobacco chewing and/or smoking, alcoholism and/or any other form(s) of substance abuse and/or dependence 7. Self-reported immune-compromised state 8. Undergoing homeopathic treatment for any chronic disease within last 6 months
