Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a) Cases suffering from adhesive capsulitis of shoulder (ICD M75.0) for at least 3 months b) Age 18-65 years c) Patients of either sex d) Patient having on ongoing standard or other alternative therapy for adhesive capsulitis of shoulder can be enrolled provided a discontinuation period of at least 1 month e) Literate patients; ability to read English and/or Bengali and capability and willingness to give informed consent and to comply with the study procedure
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a) Cases too sick for consultation, severe cases (Oxford shoulder score 41-60). b) Cases willing for or requiring immediate surgical intervention or undergoing major shoulder surgery in last 6 month. c) Diagnosed cases of uncontrolled systemic diseases, unstable mental or psychiatric illness or other uncontrolled or life-threatening illness affecting quality of life or any organ failure. d) Patient with psychiatric disorders e) Undergoing homeopathic treatment for chronic disease within last 6 months f) Self-reported immune-compromised state g) Participants with habits of tobacco chewing and/or smoking, alcoholism and/or any other form(s) of substance abuse and/or dependence. h) Vulnerable population - unconscious, ambulatory, too sick for consultation, differently abled, terminally or critically ill patients, mentally incompetent people. i) Pregnant and puerperal women, lactating mothers.
