Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Intermittent and mild persistent cases of asthma. 1. Symptoms/exacerbation (wheeze, cough and breathlessness) 2 days/week but not daily. 2. Night time awakening 4 times/month. 3. Asthmatics who meet reversibility criteria [15% improvement in PEFR value after bet a-2 agonist inhalation ( Salbutamol - 2 puff)]. 4. Symptoms according to Charak Samhita Adhyay 17/56-62 (4 essential + any >=2 other symptoms mention bellow)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age below 18 year and above 60 year. 2. Moderate persistent, severe persistent asthma. 3. Dyspnoea due to other disease like- LVF, COPD, Upper respiratory tract obstruction, Bronchiectasis, Tuberculosis, Interstitial lung disease, Tropical pulmonary eosinophilia etc. 4. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hypertension and any other systemic disorders. 5. Pregnant or lactating mother
