Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Male or female subjects at least 18 years of age 2 Constipated 3 Negative serum pregnancy test at screening,if applicable 4 Not taking medications known to affect bowel function in one week before study 5 willing to participate in the study by signing the informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Hypersensitive to study medication 2 Patients on Chronic Laxative medication and/or who were on medications known to cause constipation were excluded 3 Patients with a history of abdominal or anorectal surgery in the past one year and those with renal or liver dysfunction or chronic inertia or structural abnormalities of gastrointestinal tract or uncontrolled systemic ailments were excluded 4 Pregnant 5 Subject who has a significant cardiovascular,liver,lung,kidney,neurological or mental disease or systemic disease by urine pregnancy or lactating women were excluded 5 Subject who has significant clinical findings or in whom a significant abnormality has been found in haematology test serum chemistry or urinalysis
