Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male and female patients aged more than 18 years, undergoing elective laparoscopic lower abdominal surgeries in AIIMS, New Delhi.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Emergency surgeries History of any prior lung surgeries Pregnancy Contraindications to nasogastric tube placement Any nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal pathologies Any laparoscopic surgery being converted to open surgery
