Interventions

Intervention1: Safoof-e-Indrijulab: 6 capsules filled with Safoof-e-Indrijulab of 500mg with milk in the morning after food. (Total 3 gm/day). For 42 days Control Intervention1: Safoof-e-Shora Qalmi:

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed cases of CKD stage 1 to 3b associated with or without hypertension and/or diabetes mellitus on treatment 2.eGFR >=30- 3.Sr. creatinine level >= 1.1- 4.Patients who will give consent and able to do follow up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Urine albumin > 2+ ( > 300 mg/L) (Reagent strip urinalysis) 2.Patient with BP >140/90 mm Hg while taking 4 or more anti-hypertensive agents 3.Patients with HbA1c > 8% 4.Presence of urinary red cell casts, RBC > 20/hpf 5.H/O recurrent or extensive nephrolithiasis 6.Hereditary kidney disease 7.Severe systemic illness 8.Pregnant and lactating women
